Last month, the design gurus behind the Manhattan-based lighting brand Apparatus, debuted a new capsule collection of home accessories. Comprised of the same materials (brass, leather and porcelain) as their lighting collection, the new line of “objects” takes a boldly geometric stance – feeling a little bit Ettore Sottsass, a little bit Kelly Wearstler and all Apparatus.
Inspired by precision studio tools, Apparatus’ new line of “Candle Blocks” comes complete with fine interlocking teeth, allowing for an array of aesthetic and functional possibilities.
Born of geometric experimentation, Apparatus’ new Censer offers an array of functions ranging from display chalice to incense burner to (when housing a small tea light) glowing domed light source. To view the full line of accessories, swing by Apparatus’ new Objects shop at apparatusstudio.com.
