Today we travel to Madrid, Spain where Gorka Postigo and David Delfin have created a thoroughly modern-day home within what was once a 17th century convent. Postigo, the founder of AKA Studio, is an architect and photographer and his partner, Delfin, a fashion designer. Their home is filled with art, cool vintage furniture, a little nudity, and an S&M inspired accent or two. The walls, floors and ceilings were all painted white to unify the space and everything was left wide open… even the bathroom, which is only partially delineated from the bedroom with a series of plywood cabinets. There are few things better than a space that truly represents its occupants’ interests, personality, and style and the Postigo Delfin residence fearlessly does just that. Bravo Gorka and David!
