Designed during his training at the Design Academy Eindhoven, product designer Hosun Ching’s Walk-In Closet is now available for your custom order. As described by the designer, “The depth of a standard wardrobe is 60 cm [just under 24 inches]. That is simply not practical, because it means that you literally lose sight of your clothing; and what you don’t see, you don’t wear. Walk-In Closet is a smart storage unit designed to solve this problem. It opens out into a mini-fitting room, complete with mirrors to view outfits from every angle. The focus is on organisation and visibility. There are drawers for accessories and the reduced depth does away with those ‘hidden’ stacks.” Love it!

Denmark based Montana Møbler produces and supplies shelving systems, tables and chairs for the modern interior. Available throughout most of Europe, the modular shelving, drawers and cabinets shown above were designed by the company’s founded, Peter J. Lassen. The product comes in just about any color your heart could desire and may be stacked and arranged in just about any configuration you can imagine. While there is no denying these storage systems could prove quite handy within a closet, D thinks they are far too cool to be left in the dark.
