The brainchild of Royal College of Art student, Regan Appleton, Bicycle Taxidermy began as a pet side project when she created a couple of memento mori for her father’s once prized but long retired mountain and road bikes. The results where so charming that today, Regan is offering her services to the public.
There are two order options: 1. You may mount your own steed (the wooden mount and engraved commemorative stainless steel plaque will be mailed to your home ready for you to insert the handlebars of your dearly departed) or 2. Regan can create a beautiful mount for you, out of a selection of newly sourced handlebars. So what are you waiting for? Why not transform that defunct pile of junk into your next family heirloom? As Regan puts it, “[It’s the] loving and lasting solution for your mechanical bereavement.”
