Introducing ‘In Darkness’ the brainchild of Oslo based product designer Øyvind Wyller. Composed of a handcrafted black glass shade, leather straps and an old-style light bulb complete with a fabric chord, this beauty deserves a second glance.

By cleverly supporting the glass dome entirely through the leather strap apparatus, Wyller left the bulb and lower cord unencumbered by any support requirements – allowing them to dive, contact free, through the top hole of the shade and ‘into the darkness’ where they dangle freely.

Originally created as a one-off-piece for the Wallpaper* Handmade 2013 exhibition, the In Darkness pendant light is now available for purchase through Magnor Glassverk for 6000 NOK (approx 1,000 USD).
