Bar carts and trolleys seem to be a dime a dozen these days but this little beauty by Polish born and Brazil based architect Jorge Zalszupin is definitely something special.

Known for making furniture with graceful lines and impeccable craftsmanship, Zalszupin began his career as an architect following his post WWII move from Poland to Brazil. Early on he developed a talent for furniture design, which eventually led to his founding of L’Atelier – a furnishings design collective of architects, engineers, and craftsmen who did everything, from researching materials to realizing the finished product.

During the boom of the utopic Brasillia days of the 1960s and 1970s, virtually every building found a least one of L’Atelier’s furnishings within its walls. Since 2005, due to the quality, beauty and historical significance of Zalszupin’s modernist works, a number of his furnishings have made their way back into production, including this little trolley, available through Espasso here. Timeless.
