Last week, Living published a refreshing spread featuring the interior stylings of one very talented Italian designer – Pietro Russo. While you may recognize him as the creator of a number of the furniture and lighting pieces you see here… Pietro’s skills do not stop at furniture and lighting design. Standing as evidence of his breadth of talent, is this 1920s Art Nouveau style apartment set in Milan which Pietro has reworked, furnished and decorated for his photographer brother Adrian, his wife Silvia and their new little baby girl. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Adrian and family sit on a  Francis Sofa by Robert Lazzeroni. The Bell tables are by Sebastian Herkner and the shelving and pendant light are by Pietro Russo (for purchase inquiries contact Pietro +39 329 344 6587, info@pietrorusso.com).

The woodwork and Palladian marble flooring with blue accents are original to the apartment. The large-scale art work over the sofa was inspired by neo-Gothic artist Aylin Langreuter.

The kitchen/dining room boasts a number of pieces by Pietro Russo, including the wood, glass and brass display case,  the Scintilla pendant light, the Piuma Table and a built in kitchen. The Superleggera chairs are by Gio Ponti.

In the master bedroom a bright turquoise fabric covers the closet wall. Additional pieces of note include a Diesel/Morosso Chubby Armchair and a Vertigo Pendant Lamp by Constance Guisset.

To view more of Pietro Russo’s work and to shop his collection, I recommend a visit to his website. And if you are still itching for more… click through here for a video tour of his brother’s apartment given by the designer himself.
