Inspired by nature, Brooklyn based artist Syra Gómez specializes in custom made, site specific ceramic art pieces. We first came across Gómez’s work in the bedroom shown above – in which Gómez designed a mid-century-style wall installation for the São Paulo / New York based architecture firm Studio Arthur Casas. As luck would have it, in my search for the artist behind it all, Gómez found me and – voilà – today I have the pleasure of sharing more fantastic work from this local ceramic master. Enjoy!
