IKEA recently introduced its new PS 2012 collection at Milan Design Week, and the inspiration for the range draws upon 60 plus years of IKEA design history. Of all the new debuts, the PS 2012 easy chair shone especially bright. The sculptural new lounger designed by Wiebke Braasch takes its inspiration from the CAVELLI – a classic IKEA arm chair from the late 1950s which Braasch brought into the 21st by stripping it down to its most elemental form.
