Mingardo Metalwork

Born in Monselice, Italy in 1988, Daniele Mingardo began working in his father’s small metal workshop at the age of 18. Putting hand to metal, he quickly fell in love with the creation process, the materiality and the “correctness” of it all. But it was not long before Daniele’s passion for working with iron was joined by a new driving force – the desire to innovate and distinguish the workshop’s outputs by creating an exclusive line of designer driven products – all signed with the name Mingardo. The idea came to him on the workshop’s 40th anniversary, and today the Mingardo brand boasts a fascinating collection of more than 25 pieces that blend the aesthetic acumen of select architects and designers with the factory’s long tradition of technical expertise. Shown here are a few of our personal favorites. We hope you are as charmed by them as we are!
