On the heels of last week’s sneak peek, we’re taking a full dive into what lies inside this year’s San Francisco Decorator Showcase at 2698 Pacific Avenue. Locally known as the Mack House by Newsom and Newsom architects, the 1904 property hosts 11,000 square feet of some of San Fran’s most covetable interior architecture. With great bones already in tow, this year’s organizers tapped the area’s best designers and decorators to dress-it-to-its-best for one very good cause*. Amadi and Springer went bold with an ample dose of pattern and color grounded by an expanse of black walls and classic details.

 

 

Designers Stephen Stout and David Bjorngaard created an innovative powder room inspired by Roman baths and Italian design and fashion.

 

 

The walls are made of limestone wainscoting at base and limestone plaster at top.

Inspired by Big Sur, Kwong opted to keep things light and natural – relying on clean lines and rich texture to set the tone.

A sort of island retreat was established by floating the heavy furniture in the center of the room.

We wrap with the home’s first and last impression – a sculpture-infused garden by Jarrod Baumann of Zeterre Landscape Architecture.
