NESTLED… in the heart of one of Texas’ most exclusive neighborhoods, this 12,000 square foot Piney Point estate came complete with high ceilings, expansive rooms, and ample natural light. For the interior, Flanigan’s clients opted for a neutral palette, with occasional pops of bright color brought in through art and accessories.

WITH THIS… sense of clean simplicity in mind, Flanigan capitalized on the natural beauty of a carefully selected material palette – expanding richly veined marble counters into thick waterfall sides and cladding the entier fireplace wall in the same book-matched stone.

ACTING AS… a grounding force among sleek marble and clean line furnishings – reclaimed stone flooring and rough-hewn ceiling beams add a sense of history. On the upper level, the master suite continues this new meets old juxtaposition with a rustic bedroom flowing directly into a stunningly slick white marble bathroom – proving the adage that everything truly is bigger and better in Texas.
