the successes of their high-end fashion boutiques in Cannes and Saint Tropez, 55 Croisette has opened its third location in the heart of Paris, on the prestigious Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Inspired by the Art Deco style of 1920s Paris and the client’s vision for an elegant yet warm interior, talented young architects Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet of Monaco based Humbert & Poyet have created an atmosphere of grace in a world of high-end retail design.

CREATION OF…a dramatic double-height entrance allowed Humbert & Poyet to install a geometric assemblage of aged mirrors along one wall to reflect the dazzling light fixture above. The custom, art deco inspired luminaire boasts an intricate solid brass frame punctuated by handcrafted Italian opal glass globes.

A TERRAZZO…staircase invites visitors to the second level where custom moldings frame product against a pristine white backdrop while, underfoot, a boldly tinted oak floor imbues the gallery-like environment with a kinetic sense of energy.
THE PALETTE…plays a key role in differentiating the women’s and men’s departments; with the designers opting for a warm golden decor for the women and a graphic black and white monochrome for the men. An earthy bronze runs throughout the store as a strong, unifying thread.
REFINED…elegant and grounded in an unwavering attention to craftsmanship and detail – the new boutique perfectly encapsulates 55 Croisette’s vibey sense of style while simultaneously bearing Humbert & Poyet’s signature approach to design – reflecting a luxury that is felt every bit as much as it is seen.
