In his most recent project entitled “NY Churches,” New York City based photographer, Richard Silver, has set out to document his city’s rich religious architecture. From floor to ceiling and back again, Silver is documenting these soaring structures in a series of mind bending 180 degree panoramic shots. The photographer explains that the process actually involves taking a number of photos (about 6-10 per completed church image) and piecing them together in Panorama mode in Photoshop… a technique he wishes he had figured out years ago. The results may be a little vertigo inducing but absolutely worth it. One of these little darlings would be an awesome way to fill a tall narrow wall space! View more of Richard Silvers work at richardsilverphoto.com.
