Located on the Aegean island of Santorini, in the picturesque village of Pyrgos, lies Villa Fabrica – an old wine factory turned holiday retreat extraordinaire. The renovation / restoration was led by architect Yannis Kaklamanis and civil engineer Christos Kaklamanis of Palimpsest, with a meticulous emphasis on preserving the factory’s stunning traditional architecture. From the ingenious integration of the old factory’s machinery as sculptural art to the meticulous use of old style cements and eco-friendly materials… Villa Fabrica is quintessential Santorini – walking that beautiful line between past and present.
