The Australian skin care company Aesop, perhaps best known in design circles for their cool shop interiors, has done it again with it’s third New York City location. The newly opened Bleecker street shop, designed in collaboration with Melbourne based March Studio, has an interior that seems to walk the line between futuristic pharmacy and old time apothecary. Complete with wood walls and shelving, brass details such as a wall mounted sink and Louis Poulsen pendant light, and anchored with warm leather flooring… I find the end result to be très cool and inviting. What do you think?
