KNOWN…
internationally as a mover and shaker in the world of contemporary kitchen and bath fittings, Dornbracht got its start nearly 70 years ago in a small shack in Iserlohn, Germany. Today, the luxury brand is run by the grandchildren of the Dornbracht patriarch – carrying on their family’s passion for innovation while fully committing to the importance of flawless aesthetics. As consumers, we’ve long been fans of the Dornbracht line but today, as designers, we’ve fallen doubly hard for their striking bathroom design, modeled to showcase their new Vaia faucet / handle collection…
FORM…is the star of the show in this space rendered in an unconventional blend of brass, Carrara marble, light wood and matte platinum. |
A CONTRASTING…motif of circles and rectangles creates balance, with the round mirrors and Japanese style tub playing off the orthogonal wood screen and cantilevered sink. |
UPON CLOSER…inspection, the sink reveals an additional twist, with one faucet angled 90 degrees to the side, it provides additional standing real estate at the front. Innovative and design-focused, the interior is a perfect reflection of Dornbracht’s company ethos and not a bad source for some serious design inspiration! |
