Finnish born, Sweden-based interior sylist / designer, Anna Leena Karlsson, recently transformed this gorgeous home for luxury brokerage firm Eklund Stockholm New York. AN ICONIC… 1937-designed Alvar Aalto tea trolley adds a dose of design gravitas to the newly transformed dining room.

IN THE… living room, Karlsson warms up white walls and high ceilings with rich Merlot velvet, accented with touches of warm metal in the form of a brass magazine stand from her own shop and a 1950s Model A 808 floor lamp for Valaistustyö by Aalto.

KARLSSON… got her start in the industry as an interior blogger, where she honed her skills in creating visual content through design and photo shoots. Today, Anna Leena works with high end brokers and their customers to “achieve the highest potential for their homes before sale.” She also provides creative direction, styling and prop sourcing for web, catalogs, advertising, and PR through her eponymous firm Annaleenas Hem.
