Dpages recently stumbled upon the beautiful work of interior designer Richard Ribe and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share today’s peek into his portfolio. Based out of Norway, Ribe has filled this charming bedroom with a covetable collection of classic and contemporary lighting, furnishings and accessories. We hope you enjoy the tour! AN EXERCISE IN CONTRAST…small pillows in pale leather add tailored detail to a sleek, dark headboard, while mottled gray walls infuse the space with an organic velvety texture… |
DOUBLING DOWN…on this eclectic approach, Ribe intermingles past and present via a trove of warm brass details – traversing design eras from Studiopepe’s new marble mirror to Werner Stoff’s 1960s-designed candle holders to Robert Dudley Best’s 1930s-designed Bestlite (famously used by Winston Churchill). The end result is a timeless space that is as much “of-the-moment” as it is grounded in history. |
