For those who have been following D for a while now, you may know I have a fairly serious love for J.L. Lawson & Co. – especially for their hand turned tops. That love has just grown, because yesterday while  perusing their site, I spotted these badboys…

Manually machined out of either a solid bar of brass or stainless steel – J.L. Lawson & Co.’s 00VII cufflinks harbor one very cool secret – that is, when removed from your cuff, these little metal jewels transform into tiny spinning tops!

And while J.L. acknowledges that “removing your cufflink and using it as a top might be the last item on your to do list… we believe it’s a nice option to have.”
