Nestled along the Eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains in a expansive vacation lodge, lies the covetable kitchen / dining room renovation of Maryika Byskiniewicz of SPACES design. The airy revamp involved a complete transformation of the original interior which had been weighed down by dark wood beams and heavy stone detailing…
for the new space focused on a brighter, more contemporary look that balanced interior beauty and comfort with the picturesque views outside.
kitchen, Byskiniewicz kept things simple with fresh white subway tiles, light wood pantries and industrial style lighting from Workstead. The island was designed with custom brass panels finished to evolve with age. As for the dining space, Byskiniewicz mixed a simple wood table with tailored lavender seating and a custom Il Fanale pendant lined in gold – a perfect mix of contemporary luxury and pared down mountainside living.
