traditional craftsmanship with advanced technology, the metal specialist at De Castelli collaborated with design studio Zanellato/Bortotto to create a patina of overlapping oxidation inspired by lapping waves upon sand. The fruits of this labor yielded three Marea finishes – each one built upon a base of different metals – one in brass, another in copper, and the final in iron. To showcase these metallic landscapes De Castelli partnered with luxury Italian door brand Linvisibile – transforming the company’s groundbreaking flush Filo 10 door into a vibrant living canvas. With its beautifully calibrated proportions, elegant detailing, and precious finish… its easy to see why this is our latest object of desire.
