The Brooklyn based Egg Collective made an impressive debut at this year’s ICFF and very deservedly won the New Designer 2012 award. The fledgling design company is made up of three old friends – Crystal Ellis, Stephanie Beamer, and Hillary Petrie, whose combined mission is to build “American-made furniture that merges heirloom-quality craftsmanship and contemporary design.” Each piece is hand crafted in-house, with any necessary outsourcing going to local and small-scale manufacturers. Gorgeous!
