This fierce feline by Camille Bellot and Paul Bouteiller of Bellot_Bottle has cat burgled our hearts! From its predatory stance to its bristled coat… the life-size sculpture is comprised entirely of wood shards – all working together to convey a striking sense of raw animal tension. Wild eyed but stunning, it’s no surprise this prickly beauty won the two young artists the 2016 Prix de la Jeune Création Métiers d’Art (young creators prize for craftsmen creators under 35) at the Galerie 12 Drouot in collaboration with Ateliers d’Art de France.
