As is the custom here at DPAGES, I’m wrapping up the year with a small blogging holiday in order to get some nice upgrades underway. But before we bid adieu, what better way to gear up for Christmas and the New Year than with one of the sweetest holiday-themed designs of 2014? Fitting the bill perfectly, are this year’s holiday windows at Tiffany’s. Inspired by the energy and glamour of New York City in the 1950s and ’60s, the vignettes depict romantical, snowy scenes set in iconic locations from Rockefeller Center and Times Square to the Empire State Building and 5th Avenue. As for the design, each window is based on a graphic illustration rendered in a limited palette of vibrant blues, lavenders and the occasional pop of color – all serving to set off the Tiffany jewels that are nestled throughout each of the tiny worlds. Wishing you all a holiday that is as dreamy as these New York City scenes.
