Each year since The London Design Festival’s founding in 2003, thousands of architects, designers, artists, and onlookers descend upon the city for a celebration of all things art, architecture and design. With an international roster of talent and a roll out of some 400+ events – there was a ton to see – shown here are just a few of our favorite finds. Hope you enjoy!

 

KNOT… by Brokis, combines sleek glass with rough rope to sophisticated effect. The fixture’s LED light source is tucked into the metal hood, while the base of the fixture dimples in – appearing to give to the pull of the cord.

RANDOM RUSKIN WALLPAPER… brings contemporary edge to a traditional motif with bursts of color.

MATHIEU LEHANNEUR’S… Spring Lamp combines a cylindrical marble base with hand blown glass laced with LEDs.

 

 

Slit table by 1millimeter.

 

A GORGEOUS… combination of wood, brass and marble, the Slit table uses unexpected details to great effect.

 

 

WW chair Colour Series by Studio Makgill in collaboration with H Furniture.

 

A LIMITED EDITION… twist on H Furniture’s WW (Windsor Wire) chair, the Colour Series is now available in 6 playful new combinations.

ARTIST / DESIGNER… Zuza Mengham collaborated with Laboratory Perfumes to create physical interpretations of their scents. The resulting resin-based gems are rendered in a swirling mix of transparency and color.

And we wrap with Fredrikson Stallard’s bold Voltair pendant for Swarovski. The lightsaber-like luminaires take their inspiration from the structure of raw crystal.
