Born of a collaboration between the lifestyle brand Georg Jensen and the Amsterdam based design duo Scholten & Baijings, ‘Tea With Georg’ was a shoo-in as a D favorite (they had me at the blue plates).

Rooted in a study conducted on the formal Japanese tea ceremony, Sholten & Bajings chose to freely translate the findings into a westernized set of everyday tableware. The resultant stainless steel and porcelain collection seamlessly combines Georg Jensen’s quality craftsmanship and love of metal with Scholten & Baijings’ playful approach to design and love of color. ‘Tea With Georg’ is available through Georg Jensen.
