PERCHED…
atop a ridgeline nestled within the Quintessa winery estate, lies three tasting pavilions designed by Walker Warner Architects. The structures were conceived as a series of architectural gems to dot the Napa Valley landscape – taking their cues from the existing winery’s beautifully aging material palette and sustainably focused design…
METICULOUSLY…situated to maximize views and minimize negative environmental impact – each pavilion preserves, and takes advantage of, the natural shade provided by mature oaks. As for structure, the pavilions offer varying layers of year-round shelter, via an elegant series of sliding and pivoting planes. |
FOR VISITORS…to the vineyard, Quintessa offers private pavilion wine tastings by appointment. Each 90 minute reservation is hosted by a winery expert, offering a verbal history of Quintessa alongside wine samplings selected from among the vineyard’s 26 blocks. |
