Dutch born, New York based artist, Nemo Jantzen has spent the past two decades establishing himself as a world renowned artist. He is best known for his Pop Art, installations, and hyper realistic paintings, exhibited in acclaimed galleries and collections from New York to London, Singapore to Paris. In his recent portrait series – “Glass/Resin spheres” – Nemo takes a fascinating dive into pointillism via the arrangement of hundreds of image-baked hemispheres. From afar, upon initial glance, each portrait is deceptively simple – depicting a glamorous woman’s face – but as one gets closer the facade begins to break down – eventually revealing an array of tiny worlds – each one a frozen moment – in the form of a photograph, illustration, or movie still… a brilliant example of art imitating life. Enjoy the eye candy!
