Boston-based architecture and design firm Hacin Associates has recently completed a home renovation for a young family of three. The project, which is nestled into the suburbs of Newton, Massachusetts, addressed a soup to nuts update of a 1932 Tudor-style home by re-imagining its outdated, compartmentalized structure. Working with approx 3,600 square feet of space and one fantastic original fireplace, the team at Hacin put their focus on opening up the interior. They achieved this by creating long visual and physical connections between rooms, utilizing a fresh neutral color palette throughout, and generally infusing the space with a more urban vibe (to ease the transition for their former city dwelling clients). What do you think?
