As a follow up to yesterday’s post on Moncler’s stunning Design Week show, I’ve selected a few favorite shots from their equally stunning shops. Designed by our beloved Gilles & Boissier, the stores masterfully walk that line between dramatic and cozy. While each shop is unique, there is a common language you will see throughout. This includes an abundant use of Moncler-clad mannequins, some standing in military like formations, others snuggled in small niches, and still others sprawled stylishly across display cases. The use of natural and ‘rustically imperfect’ materials such as oak surfaces and details make an appearance in every store, as does intricately carved French wood paneling. Furs are also heavily featured. Enjoy!

Moncler just debuted their Grenoble, Autumn-Winter 2013/2014 collection here in NYC. If you missed it, I recommend a visit to yesterday’s post to view the line and a video clip from the show!
