Polish designer Marta Chrapka of Colombe Design recently transformed a 1930s Warsaw apartment from drab to fab for an international lawyer relocated from France to Poland. The apartment’s varied rooms run the gamut from eclectic-chic to bohemian to Wes Anderson-esque; each one a feast for the eyes. Enjoy the tour! Photography by Rafal Lipski.
THE CLIENT…requested a touch of Parisian flair, and Chrapka delivered by stripping the apartment down and building it back up with new hardwood floors, period style moldings and the perfect white wall color. |
AS FOR THE DECOR…Chrapka took a boldly eclectic approach mixing dynamic modern lighting, vintage and antique ebay finds, delightful shots of color and a wild array of wallpapers. |
PERIOD DETAILING…seamlessly combines with rustic furniture, slick modern art and quirky sculptural lighting. |
FOR AN EXTENDED TOUR…of Colombe Design’s Paris in Poland renovation, we thoroughly recommend a visit to its recent feature in Vogue Living. |
